Your Magical Vacation Starts Here!
Welcome to Keeping It Magical with Kaitlyn. I am so glad you are here! My name is Kaitlyn Davies, and I am here to make your next vacation the very best! Throughout the year, I am a 3rd grade teacher in Maryland, but during those summer months (and a few days during the school year when I am lucky!) the travel bug always bites me. From weekend trips close by, to visiting the great outdoors, to traveling abroad - I love it all! There is something about going out of my comfort zone and trying something new that keeps me coming back for more.
While I am always interested in traveling to a new place, Disney will always have my heart. I first went to Walt Disney World when I was eight years old. My parents surprised my brother and I, sharing that we would visit Florida during our Thanksgiving Break from school. This trip was my first time on a plane, my first time to Florida, and my first time to Disney World. While there, we stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort. My autograph book was full of my favortie characters, my neck was weighed down with all of the pins on my lanyard, I had a Cinderella makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and I had the absolute BEST time!
I returned to Walt Disney World a decade later when I graduated from high school in 2018. My friend, her family, and a couple more of our friends drove down to Florida and stayed at Bay Lake Towers, just a short walk away from Magic Kingdom. This trip was magical, but from a different perspective. Seeing Walt Disney World as an adult made me appreciate all of the creativity that goes into every aspect of the experience from transportation, to dining, to character experiences, and, of course, the parks. Walt Disney World, and any Disney proprty for that matter, is a place for young and old.
Since 2018, I have had the opportunity to visit four more times, staying at Polynesian Village Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Old Key West Resort, and Pop Century Resort. Each opportunity has brought more experiences inside and outside of the parks, whether it is dinner at the Hoop-Dee-Doo dinner show, EPCOT festivals, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or more, there is something for everyone.
I am so excited for your next vacation and will be there for you every step of the way!
